At GCLEAD, we are committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and secure environment during all our sponsored events, educational activities, and online engagements. We prioritize the well-being and dignity of every participant, ensuring freedom from harassment, discrimination, intimidation, and retaliation. It is essential that all individuals associated with GCLEAD events contribute to a culture of respect and uphold the principles that reflect positively on our organization and the diverse communities we serve.
This Conduct Policy is applicable to all individuals involved in GCLEAD events, including but not limited to members, attendees, guests, vendors, exhibitors, contractors, and sponsors. By participating in any manner in GCLEAD events, activities, or business, individuals implicitly acknowledge and commit to complying with this Conduct Policy.
Prohibited conduct encompasses all forms of harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or retaliation, whether verbal, physical, visual, or online. This includes, but is not limited to, sexual harassment, offensive bodily contact, and discrimination based on various factors such as race, ethnicity, gender identity, religion, age, sexual orientation, disability, political beliefs, and other characteristics protected by applicable laws.
For life-threatening emergencies or immediate physical danger, contact local emergency services (911). During GCLEAD events, individuals can also seek assistance from conference or security personnel.
Any person who believes they are a victim of or witness to conduct violating the Conduct Policy is strongly encouraged to report it promptly to the GCLEAD CEO or senior staff, either onsite or as soon as possible afterward. Reports will be investigated promptly, and confidentiality requests will be respected.

Investigations may be conducted by GCLEAD, an independent party, or a combination of both. False statements during an investigation may lead to separate disciplinary action.
GCLEAD strictly prohibits intimidation or retaliation against those who, in good faith, report a possible violation or provide truthful information during an investigation. Any interference with an investigation may result in separate disciplinary action.
Violations of this Conduct Policy will result in appropriate disciplinary action based on GCLEAD's standards. At our discretion, such violations may lead to removal or denial of access to future GCLEAD-sponsored events. GCLEAD members found in violation may also face additional actions and potential referral to the Ethics Committee for further disciplinary measures, including suspension or expulsion from the organization.
